KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. PT Fajar Mitra Indah continues its expansion plan through the addition of new Family Mart outlets. This retail company officially opened anyarnya outlets in LTC Glodok, Monday (23/10). LTC Glodok Family Mart Store is the 79th store owned by Fajar Mitra. FamilyMart buka gerai baru di LTC Glodok

KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. PT Fajar Mitra Indah terus melanjutkan rencana ekspansinya lewat penambahan gerai baru Family Mart. Perusahaan ritel ini resmi membuka gerai anyarnya di LTC Glodok, Senin (23/10).

Gerai Family Mart LTC Glodok ini merupakan toko ke 79 yang dimiliki Fajar Mitra. Keputusan Fajar Mitra Indah memilih lokasi trade center yang dikelola PT Agung Podomoro Land Tbk (APLN) sebagai tempat pembukaan gerai baru. Lokasi di situ dianggap ramai dan sekaligus berada satu lokasi dengan Fave Hotel.

“Strategi kami dalam membuka gerai baru adalah memang fokus ke tempat-tempat ramai dan kebetulan LTC Glodok kondisinya juga memang cukup ramai,” kata Dominic Kusniadi, Property Division Head FamilyMart di Jakarta, Senin (23/10).

Dominic mengatakan, rata-rata investasi pembukaan satu gerai Family Mart mencapai sekitar Rp 800 juta-Rp 900 juta. Adapun kerja sama Family Mart dengan LTC Glodok adalah sewa tempat.

Dalam menambah gerai, Family Mart memang lebih banyak melakukan sewa tempat. Sementara gerai yang dimiliki sendiri saat ini baru sekitar tujuh toko. “Kami lebih memilih sewa karena kami memang bukan perusahaan properti,” tambah Dominic.

Perusahaan yang beroperasi di sektor usaha ritel modern banyak di pengaruhi oleh kerasnya arus globalisasi. Tidak hanya itu, dari tahun ke tahun persaingan dirasakan semakin ketat. Dengan kondisi ini perusahaan ritel dituntut untuk bekerja dengan cara cepat, inovatif pada produk yang dijual serta kreatif dalam hal pemasaran.

Kendati masih terjadinya pelemahan perekonomian di Indonesia serta daya beli masyarakat masih lemah, harapan bagi para pebisnis ritel selalu ada. Hal inilah yang mendorong FamilyMart masih terus melakukan ekspansi.

PT Fajar Mitra Indah merupakan perseroan terbatas yang memegang hak lisensi tunggal untuk brand FamilyMart dari Jepang. Merek convenience store ini tersebar di delapan negara, dengan jumlah toko lebih dari 24.000 toko.
